Overall reflection

Today was our last of DM3, handing our last assignment in on Tuesday and have our presentation today (Thursday). Then reminiscing over the whole process of the animation and all the trouble our group had over flash not working, how it didn't work how we wanted it to. However, looking back we have all come along way, and were all happy with the end results and each members contribution to the project, it was a good team effort. The animating wasn't perfect or anything, but it brought laughs today in our presentation and the messenger was still portray reasonable well that the synopsis was easily understood without too many explanations. Also watching today, everyone's animation I do believe everyone did a good job and the animations were a great success.

Overall, looking back over the semester and realizing there only 1 semester left before graduation. I'm left wondering, what I want to do next year. Doing DM3 has made me realize that flash animation is not really something I want to do, however I am not sure if I want to do Architecture either. Well I do have another whole semester to work out what I want to do but at this moment in time I am lending towards Digital Media however that's only slightly. So I still don't know. We will see how next semester goes with my two subjects, I would love to do winter school however that is not possible at this stage.
Well, thanks for reading

Week 12/13

This week I have just been continuously working on my part of the animation and trying to get the animation by done by Sunday, so that I could meet up with Maddie on Sunday to do the editing and sound however, essentially my animating skills aren't particularly high. So I did have a lot of difficulty in Flash, and I am not a fan of the program either. I had a few problems with flash continuously crashing and as usual I would forget to save my work, so ended up losing a couple of hours worth of work. Which is very frustrating and occasionally my symbols wouldn't load up or they would disappear.
However, I did up finishing my part to the best of my ability with flash by Sunday and Maddie and I met around 10am and worked continuously for 5hours with editing, adding sound effects and rendering. Although it isn't that good, but I would say it will get some laughs and in the end" Pedro the Cat" is a comedy.

Then on Monday due to work, I couldn't meet up with Stefan at 2.30pm to past on the work, so Maddie did that so that Stefan could finish the folio and hand it in on Tuesday.

After that it will be our presentation on Thursday at 12.15 then we will finally be done for this subject.

week 11

In this tutorial we were taught flash folio, which was quite handy.
Also we got a bit of help with flash which is always an added bonus.

Week 10

Now everything was handed in except for our animation, which by all means is our biggest hurdle.
My tasks was redoing all the characters and putting them into flash, which took longer than it should have. However with other assignments in other classes did make it a lot more difficult, but in the end I got there.
So, this week in the tutorials our group got together and starting dividing roles on how to tackle our animation.
Stefan ended up doing the presentation bit of the final, while Maddie and I decided to tackle the animation.
